Mud Lake Farm is located in southern Ottawa County, Michigan with three biomass-heated hydroponic greenhouses. We are firm believers in sustainable agriculture, and enjoy exploring new ideas to make our farm more sustainable. We do not use any pesticides on our farm, but prefer to work with nature using beneficial insects to manage pests. We specialize in growing colorful, tasty hydroponic lettuces for families and restaurants in West Michigan. We're very excited to be on of the first recipients of the Slow Food West Michigan "Snail of Approval"! The snail of approval "is awarded to restaurants, bars, food and beverage artisans, and retailers in recognition of their contributions to the quality, authenticity and sustainability of the food supply of West Michigan region."
